I've got a odd question. I've got a smart bottle opener (yea, I know....fancy) that you connect to the wifi so it will keep track of bottles opened and allow you to share with friends. During the setup process the opener operates as a wifi hotspot (without internet access) and then you tell it to connect to the main wifi as well.
I have been fighting with the wifi at home trying to get the opener to connect to the wifi, it fails every time. I took the opener to work, and thought I would connect to the wifi there and set it up, and it worked fine!
How can I find out what Portal might be blocking that would be preventing me from connecting this device to the wifi at home. It would need to be connecting to the slower b/g networks, not n/ac networks that Portal does.
I have tried to split the SSID's at home to the separate signals, and it still fails. Does anyone have any suggestions???
