Hi Portal Community,
Here is my experience; the Portal Router can’t hold a solid internet connection with any device on Wifi or plugged directly into the LAN line. I have been using Portal since November 2016 and still to this date, no fix has been issued and I don’t feel as a customer that my service tickets (4 as of today) is being taking serious. I feel a LACK of concern from the startup company because a router SHOULD be able to keep a solid internet connection. I have invested in 3 portal routers for my home and a 4th as a gift and I am now regretting the decision of leaving my Apple Airport Extreme for Portal WiFi. I am at the point of ripping my 3 Portal routers off the wall and going back to my Airport Extreme setup because of all the random disconnects; I can’t get anything done or stream media, or have a day of peace without my wife complaining about the crappy internet. I even went as far of replacing everything in my home to isolate the problem and everything is leading back to the Portal router. WHAT IS THE DEAL PORTAL… WILL YOU FIX FINALLY THIS? I can’t believe that this isn’t your highest priority… to have a router work as….a router
