    Hi Joe

Please follow the steps to remove (unpair) the Portal from the old smartphone first.

    Android:

    https://support.portalwifi.com/hc/en-us/articles/236024287-How-do-I-unpair-the-Android-from-the-Portal-

    IOS:

    https://support.portalwifi.com/hc/en-us/articles/235962688-How-do-I-unpair-my-iOS-device-from-the-Portal-

Once the unpair is done from the old smartphone then proceed installing the Portal App on the new smartphone and start the pair process on the new smartphone to the Portal.

    Regards.

What do we do if we already factory reset our phone and bought a new one? I can't access my router via the app now

I've also tried all of my passwords to login to the app and none of them are working. My internet and web browser is working fine, I just want app access too.

I've just discovered this problem too. It's a terrible user experience to only allow unpairing from the paired device. It's made even worse by the non-solution of resetting to factory settings. That turns a bad experience into a horrific experience - especially for those of us who struggled to get it set up just the way we wanted.

There needs to be an Unpair Device button on the Attached Devices tab.

Show my original device as the Paired Admin Device and provide the button next to it. Easy peasy.

Agree with David. Please add a way to forget the current admin device from the web portal.
