Users who have a VPN service from TorGuard may experience issues with their Portal connecting to the service using their pre-defined .OVPN configuration files.
This is due to Portal requiring an extra line break / carriage return at the end of the OVPN file you import into Portal under Web GUI -> VPN -> Client -> Add New OpenVPN Client; the files are missing a needed extra blank line (line break / carriage return) at the end of the OVPN file.
You will need to download one of the following OVPN configuration packages from TorGuard first:
These ZIP files contain all the configurations for TorGuard servers.
Once you have selected the server you wish to connect with from the available OVPN file library within the ZIP, you will need to edit the OVPN file in a program like Notepad++ for Windows, or BBEdit on Mac, and make the following changes:
- Add an additional line break after the last character in the file
Adding this additional line break will allow Portal to read / parse the file correctly.
You can now proceed with creating a profile in the Portal web interface using the modified file.
Thank you,

UPDATE April 13, 2017
This article was updated to point to the TorGuard iOS/Android OVPN files instead, as they already contain an embedded CA Certificate needed by Portal, and need only a very minor modification to get them working with Portal.
